Tracy Morgan is determined to return to work following his nasty car accident in New Jersey last summer.

The 46-year-old actor, who sustained a traumatic brain injury, broken femur, broken nose and broken ribs when a Walmart truck crashed into the vehicle he was travelling in last June, has been showing signs of improvement recently and is keen to get his career back up and running following the incident.

But a source told Us Magazine: "If Tracy could be out, acting and doing what he loves, he would be. But sadly, he just can't yet."

The former '30 Rock' star was spotted with a walking stick as he made his way into a rehab facility in New Jersey along with his fiancee Megan and their daughter but his lawyer admits he's still got a long way to go with his therapy.

Benedict Morelli said recently: "He's still struggling with rehab to get better. He's working hard to get well."

However, the star was left devastated last month when he was forced to miss the 40th anniversary special of 'Saturday Night Live' - which he was a regular cast member from 1996 until 2003 - due to his injuries.

Meanwhile, Walmart recently reached a confidential financial settlement with the family of Tracy's close friend James McNair, 62, who was killed in the car accident, and insisted it is "committed to doing what is right" for everyone else involved.
