Khloe Kardashian is being eyed to replace Kelly Osbourne on 'Fashion Police'.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star recently appeared on the E! Oscars red carpet special alongside the departed host - who announced her departure on Friday - and co-star Giuliana Rancic and is seen as the ideal replacement.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: ""She was supposed to do it last time and passed. She may consider doing it again but the offer would have to be really high.

"It's a lot of extra work for her."

Meanwhile, former 'Real Housewives' star NeNe Leakes is also said to be in consideration, having previously been rumoured to land a slot when Joan Rivers passed away last year, a position which went to Kathy Griffin.

Kelly's departure came a few days after she threatened to quit in a row over Giuliana's comments about her friend Zendaya Coleman's hair at the Oscars.

Zendaya wore her hair in dreadlocks and Giuliana said she thought they smelt of "patchouli oil and weed".

Kelly tweeted afterwards: "I DID NOT MAKE THE WEED COMENT. I DO NOT CONDONE RACISM SO AS A RSULT OF THIS IM SEREIOULSY QUESTIONONIG STAYING ON THE SHOW! (sic)"

Giuliana went on to apologise for her remarks, and though Zendaya accepted her words, Kelly went on to announce she was leaving the show.
