Elizabeth Hurley will be in bed by 8.30pm on her 50th birthday

The 'Royals' actress reaches the milestone age in June but any "wild and wonderful" celebrations will have to wait as she will be busy working.

Asked what she has planned for her birthday, she said: "We're going to be shooting so even if I wanted to do a trip abroad with friends, I can't.

"I go to bed at 8.30 each night so it'll probably be something small and private with my family and maybe I'll do something wild and wonderful later."

Elizabeth - who has 12-year-old son Damian from a past relationship - insists she isn't worried about the physical aspects of ageing because she has had a lot of help thanks to working with hair and beauty experts throughout her career.

She said: "Because of my contract with Estee Lauder, I've had every cream under the sun and worked with the best people in skincare, hair and make-up, so I've had an unfair advantage.

"For most of my formative adult years, I've had a lot of help. But I wouldn't waste time worrying about things I can't change anyway."

However, the brunette beauty does worry about how disorganised she is and thinks it is about time she tackles the jobs she has been putting off for years.

She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "What I worry about is not getting a grip on the stuff that is not as organised as I'd like it to be.

There's a barn at my house with so many boxes to be sorted and as I get older that makes me nervous. There are boxes labelled, '1998 - to be sorted' and I think, 'Oh my God, I can't leave this to my son, I've got to get a grip.'

"I should have photo albums now - I'm a grown-up and mature but I still don't. I thought it would all fall into place but it hasn't - does it ever."
