Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart have "a lot of ties"

The former couple - who split last year following three years of dating - sparked rumours they'd rekindled their romance when the backing dancer accompanied the 45-year-old actress to the premiere of her new movie 'Home' in Los Angeles but the hunk has insisted they have not got back together.

Speaking to E! News, he said: "We got a lot of ties. We're very close.

We're friends. We're very good friends."

Despite still being single, the brunette beauty - who has got divorced three times - has admitted she's keen to find love again and is open to meeting a potential partner in a bar.

She said recently: "I can do whatever I feel like doing, if I felt like going to a bar, that's not my thing but if I felt like going to a bar and meeting somebody or meeting somebody casual, it could happen.

"You just never know you just have to be open to whatever possibilities life kind of presents to you. It's not like I'm walking round the mall every weekend but if I met somebody there the day I was there, that would be fine."

Jennifer - who has seven-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony - also admitted she has learnt how to handle tough questions about her love life "graciously".

She explained: "I've been doing this for a long time so I'm kind of just usually ready for anything. There is not anything I haven't been asked, you know, there's always a way to handle things graciously or not answer if you don't want to. It's your choice."
