Charlie Ebersol made a romantic dinner for Britney Spears on their first date

The 'Piece of Me' hitmaker was incredibly impressed by the "amazing" spread of food she was offered and the pair have been dating ever since.

She said: "I said, 'Cook for me!' So he made fish, mushrooms, avocado with a dressing, and tomatoes and mozzarella. It was amazing."

But it's not just Charlie's great cooking skills that won Britney over and she couldn't help but gush about his calming nature and handsomeness.

She said: "There was something about him that made me feel really peaceful and at ease. And he was really hot, too. Adorably hot."

And it was love at first sight for the 33-year-old singer - who was introduced to the producer by her assistant - after she admitted she was intrigued by Charlie, 32, as soon as she laid eyes on him.

She gushed: "I thought he was really adorable and she said he was good to people, so I went for it."

Meanwhile, Britney - who has been dating Charlie for six months - has admitted she would "love" to marry again one day.

When asked about tying the knot, she added to PEOPLE magazine: "I would love to. I believe in the fairytale.

"I'm not really the person to ask what it takes to get married, but personally for me, it's about loving each other and communicating right and being respectful and honest. It takes two people just loving each other a lot."
