WWE Superstar Roman Reigns has revealed his cousin Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has told him to stay "focused and humble" before he competes in the main event at 'WrestleMania 31'.

The 29-year-old grappler is to fight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the current holder Brock Lesnar at the prestigious show on Sunday night and he decided to pick his relative's brain for some priceless advice.

Former multi-time WWE Champion Johnson has headlined several 'WrestleMania' events - most recently in 2013 against John Cena - and he was more than happy to oblige and calm Roman's nerves before he competes in the biggest match of his career.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Roman revealed: "The Rock has had some great advice for me. A lot of it has been to not get caught up in how fabulous and how crazy this whole week has been and to stay focused and humble with everything that is happening and remember what it is I'm here to do. He said to keep my focus on the task ahead and everything will be fine. The Rock also told me to stay humble in everything that I do in life and then good things are going to happen."

Roman's dad is Sika Anoa'i, who is one half of the legendary tag-team the Wild Samoans - which he formed with his brother Afa Anoa?i - and both members are WWE Hall of Fame inductees.

And the young Superstar also thanked his father for his help and the words of wisdom he has passed onto him since he started his wrestling career.

Roman explained: "My family set the bar high in the WWE and I'm going to do my best to push it up even higher. I'm getting to represent my family on the grandest stage of them all; 'WrestleMania' is the biggest live event in the world. To be able to go in there and get to fight for the title and to make my family proud is everything.

"My dad is a Hall of Famer, he's done this, he's been on the road, he's trained hard, he's seen what I've seen. To be able to make him proud would mean the world to me. One of my biggest advantages is to have these resources, people like my dad available to me. To have so many different people whose brains I can pick who are blood relatives is incredible ... I've got to give a lot of credit to people like my dad for helping me on my journey to the top."

As well as Roman Reigns' headline bout against Brock Lesnar at 'WrestleMania', iconic wrestler Sting will be competing in his first ever WWE bout against Triple H, while The Undertaker returns to face Bray Wyatt.

'WrestleMania 31' can be viewed on Sunday night via a subscription to the WWE Network for just £9.99-a-month or on Sky Sports Box Office.
