Jerry Springer is to host a new show on the WWE Network

The 71-year-old presenter has teamed up with the streaming subscription service to host 'Too Hot For TV', which will re-introduce the WWE Universe to the most outrageous stunts and cringe-inducing moments in wrestling history.

Jerry shared his excitement about the new project, saying: "I suspect 25 years of 'The Jerry Springer Show' qualifies me to comment on outrageous behaviour.

"And what is more outrageous that the entertainment, drama and craziness of the WWE. This is going to be fun."

The series - which kicks off in April - will be full of mind-blowing confrontations and racy romps that will leave WWE fans questioning whether they really happened.

Meanwhile, the 'Jerry Springer Show' host will inject his own brand of humour into each of the half-hour episodes, that which feature themes such as 'Love Hurts', 'All in the Family' and 'Weddings and Funerals'.

'Too Hot For TV' will be available next month on the WWE Network's video-on-demand library with new episodes added weekly.

Other new series announced for the WWE Network this year include 'Camp WWE', an adult animation developed by Seth Green's Stoopid Buddy Stoodios which takes the Superstars and Divas back to summer camp.

Speaking about the series - which will debut in late 2015 - Seth said: "We're insanely excited about this collaboration. WWE is one of the most heartfelt and professional organisations I've worked with."

Prank show 'Swerved' which has been co-created with 'Jackass' director Jeff Tremaine and 'Diva Search' which will see the WWE search the world for the next female competitor to join the company.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed 'WWE WrestleMania 31' - which took place at the San Francisco 49ers Levi's Stadium last Sunday (29.03.15) - is the highest grossing live event in WWE history and broke the attendance record for the venue.

WWE's annual pop-culture extravaganza banked $12.6 million with 76,976 fans from across America and the rest of the world travelling to the stadium for the event.

You can sign up to the WWE Network at WWE.com for just £9.99 per month.
