Kim Kardashian West thinks Bruce Jenner looks "very beautiful" as a woman

The 34-year-old reality TV star says "it felt very natural" to see her 65-year-old stepfather, who recently announced he is transitioning from male to female, wearing a dress and make-up for the first time.

Asked if she has met the woman Bruce, 65, is referring to as "her" until he unveils his new image to the public, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star said: "I have met her. I just recently met her and it was amazing. And she looked beautiful, she was dressed up, beautiful make-up, beautiful hair - very, very, very beautiful. And very comfortable. It felt very natural."

While the brunette beauty has always supported Bruce, she credits her husband, Kanye West, for urging her to get behind his transformation.

She told 'Access Hollywood': "I always accepted him. It was just taking the time to really get to understand him and Kanye really made that clear to me when he said, 'Could you imagine what it must be like to just not feel like yourself?'

    "I really can't imagine it."

But Kim admits her mother, Kris Jenner, who split from Bruce in October 2013 after 22 years of marriage, and siblings, including half-sisters Kendall Jenner, 19, and Kylie Jenner, 17, are still getting therapy to help them adjust.

She added: "It's a big discussion, when do we change over from he to she - that's a big discussion in our family. We want to always make sure we are doing the right thing and honour the transgender community. We've met with multiple people to help us and talk to us just want to make sure we're all being respectful, and we take it very seriously.

"But it's totally okay for my mom to be emotional over it and feel like she's lost her husband.

"Sometimes Kendall and Kylie get emotional over that and feel like their dad's gone, but they understand they've gained someone else, that is just the same person although a bit different and for everyone it's just a new chapter."
