Perrie Edwards feels "naked" without her engagement ring

The Little Mix singer appeared with her bandmates on the Capital London Breakfast Show with Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon and worried the hosts when they spotted she wasn't wearing the diamond band her fiancé Zayn Malik had given her.

However, Perrie reassured them she and the former One Direction star are definitely still together and that the sparkler was missing because it is being cleaned, something she didn't like as she missed the ring.

Lisa asked: "Perrie, where's your ring? Are you not wearing your diamond?"

Prompting the pop beauty to explain: "I know! it's getting cleaned ... I knew, I knew it was gonna happen today..."

She then joked: "Oh don't worry, tomorrow we'll probably not be together. We'll be separated. I'll be heartbroken, it will all be over.

"(But) you know what, I feel naked, it's horrible, you know when you get used to wearing something ... but no, it's getting cleaned."

Dave then suggested perhaps the ring cleaning was a ploy by Zayn to discover her ring size so he could surprise her with more beautiful jewellery.

He said: "You know when a gentleman normally asks to take a ring away to have it cleaned for you he's sizing it up for yet another ring, do you reckon there could be more jewellery coming your way?"

Perrie then said: "Well that would be lovely."

Perrie and Zayn - who walked away from One Direction in March - first met in 2011 and started dating in 2012. The pop pair got engaged in 2013 and although it has been rumoured they will wed later this year no date is yet to be officially be set.
