Sophie Ellis-Bextor is pregnant with her fourth child

The 'Murder on the Dancefloor' hitmaker was recently pictured with a growing baby bump and has now taken to Twitter to confirm the news that she and her husband, The Feeling's Richard Jones, are expecting another child.

In a series of posts on the social network, she wrote: "Hello all. Been finding it a bit nice-but-strange to be congratulated on a pregnancy I haven't actually announced yet..."

Posting a photo of her tummy, she wrote: "What do you think, @thefeeling R? Is there a baby in there? (sic)"

The 36-year-old bassist replied to the message saying, "Yes there is!" after which she confirmed, "Ah ok, cool! Mystery solved. Baby in autumn.

    "Lovely! As you were."

The couple - who wed in 2005 - already have sons Sonny, 11, Kit, six, and Ray, three, and Sophie previously revealed she tends to have odd cravings while pregnant.

She said: "When I was pregnant with my second child, I craved Flamin' Hot Monster Munch every day, whereas previously I'd been much more of a pickled gherkin girl.

"I just love pickled things, which goes back to fish & chip shops as a child, where I'd beg 'Can I have two gherkins, please?' And I still don't like salt on my chips."

Meanwhile, the former 'Strictly Come Dancing' finalist revealed earlier this year she is working on her sixth studio album, which will follow up 2014's 'Wanderlust'.
