Brody Jenner is "very proud" of Bruce Jenner for revealing he is transgender

The 31-year-old reality TV star admits his father's decision to transition from male to female has "been a journey for all of us," but believes the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star has never been happier.

The former 'The Hills' star said: "[I'm] very proud, very proud. It's been a journey for all of us but we're very supportive and I love him to death. It's really great to see how happy he is now."

Bruce and Brody previously had a difficult relationship, but have become a lot closer in recent years and he has a huge amount of respect for the 65-year-old Olympian.

The DJ told 'Extra': "I think it's gonna change a lot of lives and hopefully save a lot of lives."

Brody's older brother Brandon Jenner, 33, previously praised Bruce for sharing his story with the world.

He said: "I saw a sense of bravery that, for all of your previous accomplishments, I think far exceeds all of them. I'm just honoured and more proud than ever to be a part of the family."

Bruce, who has four other children from different relationships, Kylie Jenner, 17, Kendall Jenner, 19, Casey Jenner, 34, and Burt Jenner, 36, as well as four stepchildren, Kourtney Kardashian, 36, Kim Kardashian West, 34, Khloé Kardashian, 30, and Rob Kardashian, 28, is planning to undergo full gender reassignment surgery in the near future.
