Chris Brown has admitted he was "wrong" to start a feud with model Tyson Beckford

The 26-year-old singer reacted angrily to an image Tyson, 44, shared of himself and his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran on his Instagram account, but Chris has subsequently acknowledged he overreacted and has issued an apology.

The 'Loyal' hitmaker tweeted: "I'm light skin! I'm always in my feelings.

"No drama! People are really starting to make this s**t an issue. I can be a real one and say that I was wrong for even pressing an issue. (sic)"

Chris - whose on/off relationship with Karrueche dates back to 2011 - later added: "I can be a man about it."

Relations between Chris and Tyson turned sour over the weekend, when Chris reacted furiously to the photo of the model alongside his former girlfriend.

He wrote: "U wanna keep walking them runways. I need ta legs for that. Keep playing like I ain't with the bulls**t (sic)."

The controversial star also ridiculed Tyson's stint at Chippendales in Las Vegas.

He said: "Be in Vegas soon. Keep playing ima f**k ya baby momma and then whoop yo child like he mine. (sic)"

However, Tyson refused to back down and responded by tweeting: "It's all about fun in Vegas. Come thru papa. (sic)"

And their feud escalated further when he shared a video of himself down the shooting range, captioning it: "Just in case you forgot! #pewpew #nra #bang. (sic)"
