Natalie Imbruglia did a lot of "crazy stuff" following the breakdown of her marriage

The 'Torn' hitmaker split from her husband, Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns, in 2008 after five years of marriage and has admitted she felt a sense of freedom following the break up which led to rumours of flings with a host of fellow A-listers including Robbie Williams, David Schwimmer and Chris Martin.

The brunette beauty has now opened up about the relationships and claims she was simply friends with the Coldplay frontman, never romanced the former Take That singer but did enjoy a "happy relationship" with 'Friends' star David.

In an interview with Red magazine, she said: "After my divorce I was doing lots of crazy stuff. That was one good thing that came out of it. You lose the fear."

When questioned over the alleged flings, she said: "Robbie Williams? No. Never Happened. David Schwimmer? Yes, that was a happy relationship."

And on the subject of Gwyneth Paltrow's ex Chris, she added: "We are mates and I haven't seen him in ages."

Natalie, 40, also rubbished speculation she had enjoyed brief romances with Prince Harry and One Direction star Harry Styles.

She added: "Prince Harry? No. I know him. But no. [And Harry Styles?] No."

The former 'Neighbours' actress also opened up about the difficulty she faced adapting to life in the spotlight following the release of her hit single 'Torn" in 1997.

She said: "I bought a second home in LA that was just like a ship. I had two cleaners, two gardeners, and then I thought, 'This is just stress. Who do you think you are? J.Lo?"
