Rita Ora wants to collaborate with Zayn Malik

The 24-year-old singer confessed she wouldn't "say no" to teaming up with the former One Direction star following his exit from the band - now comprised of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan - in March this year.

The blonde beauty - who is currently putting the finishing touches to her second studio album - revealed she be would more than happy to work with Zayn, 21, if the track was right because she likes him since he dyed his hair a similar shade of vibrant green to her boyfriend Ricky Hill earlier this month.

When asked if she would consider recording with the heartthrob, she said: "Well he does have the same color hair as my boyfriend. My man had it first. You know what, I respect people that work. You know I respect people that do their music. But I'm never gonna say no. You know I love music. It all depends on the song."

The 'Poison' hitmaker also opened up about working with Ed Sheeran and is thrilled the BRIT Award-winner wrote a song called 'Us' about their blossoming friendship for her upcoming album.

Speaking to Rickie, Melvin and Charlie on Kiss FM's breakfast show, she said: "It's on my album. It's an amazing record. It's called 'Us' and it's a beautiful song. And it's something, it's a rare light shade of the record of me actually embracing a good time in my life of love. So it's that."

Rita also unsurprisingly confessed to preferring Katy Perry over rival pop star Taylor Swift, who is currently dating her former flame Calvin Harris.

When asked which of the superstars she preferred, Rita said: " Katy Perry. All day ... Only because I know her personally!"
