Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West spent their first wedding anniversary in bed

The 'New Slaves' rapper, who married the reality TV star in Florence, Italy on May 24, 2014, hired a private bartender to serve them pina coladas and breakfast in bed after they woke up at their $20 million mansion in Hidden Hills, California.

A source close to the couple, who have two-year-old daughter North, told Us Weekly magazine that the 34-year-old beauty, who is set to give birth to a baby boy in December, sipped on a non-alcoholic version of the rum-based cocktail, made with coconut water.

Kanye had previously planned to whisk Kim to Paris for the occasion so they could renew their wedding vows beneath the Eiffel Tower, but opted to organise a low-key celebration instead after she revealed she was suffering from severe morning sickness.

The duo also axed plans to go to Africa to mark their first year of married life.

Speaking in April, Kim said: "We were supposed to go to Africa. A good friend got us a safari for our wedding gift. [But] I think we're just going to stay home and chill out. I feel like May is a really busy month for us so I think we just want to hang out and relax. Unless he has something planned, he always has something up his sleeve, he always has something planned, so I don't put it past him to do something really special."
