Jedward are going to record a song with David Hasselhoff

The twins - John and Edward Grimes - met The Hoff on the set of new movie 'Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!' and during breaks between shooting the trio made plans to write a track together.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz, John revealed: "David has said he wants to do a song with us so we are going to make it work. It will be released as a single; it will be number one in Germany! And number one in Ireland - everywhere! We can't wait to make a song with him."

John says he and his brother have lots of ideas for potential songs and predict their proposed collaboration with The Hoff will be more fun than most of the duets in the charts.

He explained: "We have so many concepts and lyrics in our heads, we have fire songs, we have songs that are uplifting, all different. Everything is different. A lot of people do collaborations with like Flo-Rider and Snoop Dog, they collaborate with everybody, but this would be more fun."

Jedward penned the theme song 'Oh Hell No' to the monster movie and if 'Sharknado 4' gets made the boys want to record another title track with The Hoff.

Edward said: "'Sharknado 4', if it happens, we're going to write the theme song for it with David Hasselhoff. He's totally team Jedward!"

'Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!' stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid return as Finley 'Fin' Shepard and April Wexler Shepard and features a host of celebrity cameos.

As well as Jedward and The Hoff the movie includes appearances from Bo Derek, Jerry Springer, Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson, WWE Superstar Chris Jericho and Ray J among others.

'Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!' premieres on Thursday 23 July at 10pm on Syfy.
