Scott Disick has insisted he is fine following his split from Kourtney Kardashian

The 32-year-old TV personality has spoken about his current situation for the first time since splitting from his partner of nine years, telling reporters he is taking things "a day at a time".

When asked how he remains positive despite huge personal changes, he said: "You gotta take every day a day at a time I guess, right?"

Another reporter then asked if he was "OK", to which he replied: "Sure".

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star was speaking as he entered Mirage's 1 Oak nightclub in Las Vegas to host a night, where he said he was "excited" to be returning to after cancelling his previous planned appearance.

He said: "I haven't been here in a while so I'm excited to be back. I got to have dinner at Stack, which I love so, yeah, I'm excited."

However, Scott - who has Mason, five, Penelope, three, and seven-month-old Reign with his ex-girlfriend - was on his best behaviour at the prestigious club, where he only drank water while spending time with pals Alec Monopoly and Mally Mal and gave no attention to nearby women.

Nevertheless, the star was met with hundreds of abusive messages prior to his personal appearance after posting a photo on Instagram of himself at the beach with the caption, "This is what I need right now", with fans suggesting he should be with his family instead.

One user wrote: "Go take care of you kids not celebrate the fact you dont... (sic)."

While another said: "What you need is to get a grip on your life and take care of your responsibilities instead of feeling bad for yourself."
