Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend claims he once turned down a chance to star on 'The Bachelor'

Charlie Ebersol, who split from the 'Perfume' hitmaker in June after eight months of dating, says "there's no way in hell" he would ever appear on the US reality TV series in a bid to find the love of his life.

The TV producer said: "I don't watch 'The Bachelor'. They asked me to do 'The Bachelor' a bunch of years ago and it was the most awkward phone call I have ever been a part of in my entire life. There's no way in hell I'm ever doing it."

Charlie also opened up about his romance with Britney, 33, and still thinks she looked "hotter" than her co-presenter JJ Watt at the ESPYs last month.

He said: "Obviously Britney was by far hotter, sorry JJ. She looked good."

While he's also a big fan of her hit 'Stronger,' he insists she didn't spoil him with gifts when they were together.

He said: "Britney didn't get me a horse for my birthday. We went horseback riding for my birthday, but she didn't give me a horse."

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old producer says he would be "a con man" if he didn't work in the entertainment industry.

He told UsMagazine.com's 25 Things You Don't Know About Me: "If I wasn't a producer, I'd probably want to be a con man since it's the same underlying skill set."
