Miley Cyrus' breasts made Sir Paul McCartney uncomfortable

The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker met the Beatles star when she inducted Joan Jett into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year but she was only able to relax because she saw how uneasy the 73-year-old musician felt by her skimpy outfit.

She said: "Not that it started this way but I did the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame with Joan Jett, I inducted her, and we were talking to Paul McCartney and I saw him not knowing how to talk to me.

"I don't know really how to talk to Paul McCartney so it made me very comfortable because it made him more uncomfortable.

"Sometimes [dressing this way] is a nice conversation ice breaker. You can be like, 'Stop staring at my t**s,' and the conversation keeps going."

And the 23-year-old beauty has insisted her father Billy Ray Cyrus is "cool" with her dressing in minimal clothing because he's more worried about whether she's a good person or not.

She added: "My dad's cool because I'm sure maybe he'd rather me not have my t**s out all the time.

"He'd rather me have my t**s out and be a good person than have a shirt on and be a b***h."

But Miley insists it is not the breast the general public have a problem with, but the nipple.

Appearing on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' wearing heart-shaped nipple pasties with a blazer, she said: "You know what I've learned actually, it's not that humans are afraid of the human breast - it's the nipple that's the issue. I'm showing my breasts and no one has a problem but the nipples are covered so somehow that's OK.

"So America's actually fine with t**s, it's nipples they don't like. It's what you have. It's insane; because the nipple - which you can't show - everyone has but the jug part that everyone doesn't, you're allowed to show under-boob. I've never understood the way that works."
