    Kim Kardashian West takes 10,000 steps a day

    The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star - who has two-year-old daughter North with husband Kanye West - is trying to stay in shape during her second pregnancy, and her favourite way to do so is to "walk, walk, walk, walk".


    Her trainer, Harley Pasternak, said: "She likes to walk, walk, walk, walk.

    "She likes to walk while on phone calls; she likes to walk to her sisters in the gated community; and she walks with North."

    As well as walking, the 34-year-old beauty uses a Helix Lateral Trainer.

    Harley explained: "It's like a lateral elliptical. Our female clients can hit their butts and their abductors and their glutes in a lateral way."

    Kim - who is due to give birth to a son in December - is able to workout the way she used to now she is in her second trimester, but with a few adjustments.

    Her trainer told RadarOnline.com: "She can basically do all the exercises that you can normally do. We just don't lay on your back and we don't do too much abdominal crunching work."

    The reality star is also taking care with her diet to ensure she is getting all the nutrients she and her baby need through her pregnancy.

    Harley said: "While you're pregnant, you need to eat 300 extra calories a day. That's three tablespoons of peanut butter, not cakes and donuts. Eat healthy...

    "To get enough fibre is really important, especially when you're pregnant because sometimes the pregnancy vitamins can constipate.

    "Vegetables of all kinds, fruits with edible skin or edible seeds, whole grains, milled oats, wheat berry, and seeds, chia seeds, Psyllium seeds, and flax - they pack a lot of good fibre and healthy fats.

    "It's really important also to stay hydrated. Now more than ever is when hydration is essential."
