Kendall Jenner's "dreams came true" as she walked in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

The 20-year-old model made her runway debut at the annual lingerie show and couldn't have been happier after the event, which saw her walk in two different costumes, a red and blue ensemble teamed with a floaty cape and a pale blue diamante outfit.

She tweeted after: "dreams came true tonight.(sic)"

And the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star - who was supported at the show by parents Kris and Caitlyn Jenner but had asked her famous siblings to stay away - was delighted to share the spotlight with her friend and fellow VS newcomer Gigi Hadid.

She told 'Extra': "It makes you more comfortable and honestly sharing this moment with one of your best friends is so awesome."

Behati Prinsloo - who walked first in 2014 - again opened this year's show, followed by Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel, who dazzled in a butterfly-style outfit and showed no signs off the ill-health that saw her hooked up to an oxygen mask last week.

Long-established Angels Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio walked in the show for the 16th time, while Lily Aldridge was chosen this year to wear the $2 million Fantasy Bra.

Among those also appearing on the catwalk at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City were this year's newest Angels, Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, Stella Maxwell, Sara Sampaio, Lais Ribeiro, Jac Jagaciak, Kate Grigorieva, Jasmine Tookes, Romee Strijd and Taylor Hill.

Themes for the show included snow queens, butterflies, fireworks and carnival, with the finale set to a backdrop of snow and white Christmas trees as Candice, Alessandra, Behati and Lily shared a hug.

Musical performers this year were Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, and Ellie Goulding.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will air on CBS on Tuesday, December 8.
