Mariah Carey spent Thanksgiving with Nick Cannon.

The former couple split in August 2014 after six years of marriage but have remained close for the sake of their four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe and they enjoyed a family day together to celebrate the US holiday on Thursday 26.11.15.

They both shared pictures of themselves with the kids on their Instagram pages, with Nick captioning his "Happy Thanksgiving from all of us!! #FamilyFirst," while Mariah simply wrote: "Happy Thanksgiving."

Mariah, 45, previously invited Nick, 35, to a Halloween party at her home and explained: "I thought it was important that they see their parents together occasionally."

Meanwhile, Mariah is currently dating Australian billionaire James Packer and said they hit it off instantly when they met.

She explained: "We first met in Aspen. A couple years ago we were at the 'Hercules' premiere. We were talking and laughing and people were getting mad at us and stuff like that. So we hit it off. I'm lucky too. He really is [great]."

Whilst insisting she doesn't usually talk about her beau because she is a "private person", she shared: "He's a great person. He's just an incredible guy. He really is a good person, and that's hard to find.

"I think anybody that's a friend of his would say the same thing, if not more, so I can't say enough nice things about him. He's just a spectacular guy."
