Courtney Love is reportedly dating a man 15 years her junior.

The 51-year-old rocker is currently seeing Nicholas Jarecki, 36, the writer and director of the Richard Gere movie 'Arbitrage' and the brother of Eugene Jarecki, who directed 'Freakonomics'.

A source said: "Courtney and Nick were introduced through mutual friends three months ago and immediately hit it off.

    "They have been dating."

Courtney was reportedly showing off her new man at Adam Sandler's holiday party for his production company, Happy Madison, in California last week.

A source said: "She was introducing him to everyone."

Meanwhile, an insider close to the situation claimed Nick isn't bothered by the sizeable age gap between the pair.

The source told the New York Post newspaper: "Nick's really into her. He thinks she is fun and unique. The age difference isn't an issue at all."

On the other hand, another source insisted Nick has no intention of making a long-term commitment.

The source said: "Nick likes older women for sure, but I don't think he's interested in a commitment. I could see their social awkwardness connecting."

The speculation comes shortly after Lana Del Rey described Courtney Love as a "born performer".

The 'Born To Die' hitmaker - who was joined by Courtney on the 'Endless Summer' tour earlier this year - said she was impressed by Courtney's stage presence.

She said: "Touring with Courtney was great - we have some things in common that might not be visible from the outside. I did spend some time with her, and I still see her now and then. I think the most important thing I learned was that some people just have it when it comes to performing. She's totally entrancing, a born performer."
