Katie Price regrets getting her baby daughter's ears pierced.

The mother-of-five got the cosmetic procedure - that uses a piercing gun to insert studs into the earlobe - done on 17-month-old Bunny over the weekend but has hinted she wishes she hadn't had it done because she's forced her to grow up.

Appearing on 'Loose Women', she said: "I think a baby should be pure and treated as a baby and I know I am contradicting myself... but it's done now."

However, the 37-year-old star initially tried to defend herself by comparing the beauty procedure to circumcision and claimed her husband Kieran Hayler wanted their daughter to have her ears pierced because it's tradition in his family's native.

She explained: "I'm having to justify myself. I just think it looks really cute. Lots of people have their opinions but some boys are circumcised and that's not their choice. Kieran is half Spanish and piercing your child's ears is a tradition there."

Meanwhile, Katie's decision to get Bunny's ears pierced hasn't just caused uproar among fans, as her other daughter Princess, eight, is fuming she's not allowed to get hers done because her father Peter Andre is against it.

She said: "Peter [Andre] said he would rather she didn't, but Kieran is Bunny's dad and he agreed. I told Princess she can't have hers done until her dad agrees."

Katie also has sons Harvey, 13, from her relationship Dwight Yorke, Junior, 10, with Peter and Jett, two, with Kieran.
