Vicky Pattison has praised "brave" George Shelley for the "strength, courage and honesty" he has shown by announcing he is bisexual.

The 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' winner has gushed about how proud she is of her former campmate, who she met in the jungle late last year, for opening up about his sexuality in a YouTube video posted.

Taking to her Instagram account this afternoon, the brunette beauty said: "Love is love.... Let's celebrate it, whatever form it comes in it is beautiful. @georgeshelley I applaud your strength, courage and honesty (sic)"

And her praise certainly didn't stop there as the former 'Geordie Shore' star even reached out to the Union J singer via her Twitter account as well.

She tweeted: "I have never been prouder of my amazing friend @higeorgeshelley, no matter who you love my darlin, we will always love you-You brave human (sic)"

Vicky, 28, hasn't been the only person to share some words of wisdom with George, 22, as he's been bombarded with words of praise since he revealed in the emotional clip that he's bisexual.

He said: "I've had girlfriends that I've loved and that have been amazing periods of my life and I've also had boyfriends. I just want you to know that whether I decide to be with a girl next or be with a guy next it is because I love them, and it shouldn't be a big deal."

George's video, entitled 'Hi! I've got something to talk to you about', sparked memories of a similar YouTube clip posted by Olympic diver Tom Daley in 2013, in which he came out as bisexual.
