Penelope Cruz found it "impossible" not to laugh while filming 'Zoolander No. 2'.

The 41-year-old actress couldn't hold back when she worked alongside Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson on the comedy sequel, and admitted there wasn't a moment when she wasn't on the verge of chuckles.

Asked if it was hard not to laugh, she said: "Every day every shot every take, because they know each other so well - most of my scenes are with Owen and Ben. It was kind of impossible not to laugh."

Penelope - who plays a special Interpol agent in the sequel - admits it was a "surprise" that she was asked to be in the movie, but she was thrilled to be a part of the project because she was such a huge fan of the 2001 film, which starred Ben and Owen as warring models.

Speaking at the London Fan Screening of the movie in Leicester Square, she said: "It was a great surprise for me because I saw the first one more than five times, I knew the dialogue, the characters.

"I had no Idea they wanted to do the sequel and then Ben called me and told me and said he had me in mind, and I was so happy and surprised."

Elsewhere at the screening, Ben broke the record for the world's longest selfie stick.

The actor was presented with an official Guinness World Records certificate following the feat, in which he took a picture with a group of his co-stars, fans, and guests using the eight-and-a-half metre long device.

Penelope and Ben were joined at tonight's screening by co-stars including Owen, as well as model guests Jourdan Dunn and Lara Stone.
