Kelly Rowland's baby son is starting to speak Spanish.

The 34-year-old singer has been forced to learn the language "pretty quickly" as her 14-month-old son Titan, whom she has with her husband Tim Witherspoon, has already started to pick up some of the words from his Argentinian nanny.

The brunette beauty explained: "I'm having to learn because I don't want him to learn more Spanish than me and start talking circles around me. When she's speaking to him, he's picking it up. He's picking it up rather quickly."

And that's not the only thing the little one is starting to learn, as he's also desperate to feed himself using proper cutlery.

The former Destiny's Child star said: "He's an explorer. He wants to pick up the fork or spoon and feed himself. We're definitely empowering him to do that."

Meanwhile, as little Titan is starting to pick up tricks of the real world; Kelly is keen to teach him right from wrong.

Speaking to PEOPLE.com, she said: "I'm trying not to say 'no' so much because I don't want him to always hear 'no'.

"I'll say no probably one time, and then it's like, 'Aw, baby, this isn't a good idea, let's try something else. You wanna go over here and play with this?' It's a lot of that these days."
