Khloe Kardashian, Gigi Hadid and Ellen DeGeneres were among the stars wowed by Lady Gaga's performance at the Super Bowl.

The 'Born This Way' hitmaker performed the US National Anthem before the NFL championship final between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday the 07.02.16, and blew away fans in the stadium and watching at home with her rendition of 'The Star-Spangled Banner'.

    Khloe said Gaga "killed it".

She wrote: "Lady gaga killed it!!!!! So happy for her!!! Yaaasssssss gorge!!!! (sic)"

Model Gigi was so overwhelmed by her voice, she had "goosebumps" even after she'd finished performing.

She posted on her Twitter: "W O W @ladygaga, that performance! The song ended 10 minutes ago and I Still have goosebumps. What a legend (sic)"

Gaga donned a red sequined jumpsuit for the performance, with talk show host Ellen joking the outfit actually belonged to her.

She posted on her account: "Love you so much, @ladygaga. I'm so glad I loaned you my jumpsuit (sic)"

Elsewhere on Twitter, Christina Milian and actress Krysten Ritter both agreed the singer "slayed" the song.

Christina wrote: "#LadyGaGaSuperBowl just slayed! (sic)"

And Krysten posted: "Well @ladygaga wins the Super Bowl and every other single thing SLAY QUEEN!! (sic)"

The blonde beauty kicked off the evening's entertainment, which was followed by a phenomenal music showcase from Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars as the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers.
