Lance Bass understands why Justin Timberlake didn't invite him to his wedding.

The 36-year-old singer says the 'Sexy Back' hitmaker never invited his fellow *NSYNC bandmates to his 2012 wedding to Jessica Biel because he wanted all the focus to be on his bride.

He said: "That, everyone always asks that. And here's the real answer - is no. We were not [invited to the wedding]. And a lot of people are like, 'That is so rude,' but I, I, if you think of it this way, you'll understand why we didn't go.

"When we get together, the five of us, it is, it's a spectacle. I mean, we rarely are all five together. You know, four of us will be together, three of us, but all five, people go nuts and it's all about *NSYNC and it's just taking picture after picture and, you know, he wanted that wedding to be about Jessica, you know, and he didn't want it to be an *NSYNC reunion."

And Lance insists he is not bitter about Justin's decision, admitting it was a "very thoughtful" thing for him to do.

When asked on Kocktails With Khloe if Justin called to explain why he decided not to invite them, Lance added: "Oh yeah, definitely. You know, we had the engagement party and all that, so that was, you know, lots of fun.

"But yeah, I mean, I totally understand and I respect that and I think it's kind of romantic to make it all about her, for that day. It was very thoughtful."
