Adam Levine wants to spoil his pregnant wife.

The Maroon 5 frontman is looking forward to welcoming his first child with Victoria's Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo and can't wait to spoil her rotten.

He told E! News: "It's awesome. I'm going to be a dad. S**t, I'm excited. I'm going to be a f***ing dad. I'm going to spoil Behati ...

"Kid's not even out yet. Can't be spoiling a kid before a kid gets out."

Meanwhile, the 37-year-old singer previously admitted he is definitely "ready" to be a father.

He said: "I'm ready to be a dad. You're born to be a parent, that's what we're here for, really. All the other s*** is great, but it's not what we're here for."

However, he is trying to ignore some of the advice he and Behati, 26, have been offered as they want to bring up their little girl in their own way.

He shared: "When you are doing this for the first time, everybody loves to tell you what you should be doing. So, we're kind of tuning a lot of it out and we're just going to do it how we do it."

Adam has been desperate to have kids for quite sometime, revealing he wanted a big family soon after he tied the knot with the model in 2014.

He said at the time: "We're definitely going to do it. I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible. [I want] like, 17. Is that reasonable? I love kids so much though."

Since news of the little one broke, his fellow musicians have rushed to offer their congratulations.

Fellow 'The Voice' coach Pharrell Williams said of Adam's big news: "He's a really engaged type of person. So, I think he's going to be really engaged with his son or daughter ... When he's into something, he's into it. And I know that he's going to be into his child, for sure."
