Katie Price's son thinks he's more fame-hungry than her.

The 37-year-old model may thoroughly enjoy hitting the headlines but it seems 10-year-old Junior, whom she has with her ex-husband Peter Andre, is set to give her a run for her money as he believes he laps up the limelight more than her.

Speaking about reality TV shows, the youngster said: "I think I'm more interested in it [being on television] than my mum. I love being on shows because I just like being on camera."

The former glamour model was criticised last week when it was announced Junior and his nine-year-old sister Princess - whose dad is also Peter - are taking part in her forthcoming six-part equine series 'Katie Price's Pony Club'.

But the blonde beauty doesn't understand why she was heavily criticised because her children have been on screen - such as for her shows 'Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter' and 'Katie and Peter Stateside' - since they were babies.

Speaking at a press conference for her new programme in Manchester, she said: "Year's ago, obviously their dad (Peter) wanted to use them in his reality show, but my choice was they were at an age where they were starting school and I wanted them to join school as them, as kids, not because everyone knows who they are. But obviously, it's out of my control. Pete did the show, which is fine, but now they are old enough to say if they do or don't want to do it. I've never pushed them, but they want to do it."

'Katie Price's Pony Club' will follow the blonde beauty as she creates her own horse school - comprised of Princess, Junior and four of their friends - as the six novice riders take on the elitist world of pony clubs.
