Jason Sudeikis uses the 'Angry Birds' movie to explain "everything" to his son.

The 40-year-old actor voices a bird named Red in the 3-D animated comedy and as his young son Otis, two, is already a big fan of the movie, it came in useful when he and fiancee Olivia Wilde wanted to tell the youngster they were expecting another baby.

Jason told 'Entertainment Tonight': "He knows that it's something in an egg.

"We just used metaphors in the movie [to explain it to him]. That's all. We explain everything through the movie.

    "He has [seen it].

"This is the first movie that we've sat through the whole time together. He liked it a lot. I mean, he was riveted, which is pretty impressive to me. As I've told it to other parents, they were pretty shocked as well. But now he knows all the birds' names and everything. It's pretty adorable!"

Jason also joked about the similarities between himself and his angry animated alter ego.

He said: "We're both animated. I grit my teeth. I think I inherited that from my father. When I get mad, it kind of manifests itself in my jaw."

While Jason and his 32-year-old partner are excited about having their second child, they don't know yet if they want to have any more afterwards.

He said: "Oh, God, I don't know. I haven't even thought about it. I'll say two until three becomes the number. Then four, and etcetera, etcetera."

The 'Mother's Day' actor recently admitted he hopes the new baby will be just as "fun and smart" as Otis.

He said: "I think a lot of it has to do with being with the right person, but also I think we did a humdinger of a job on the one we got. He is very cute and he's very, very fun and smart. It's been fun getting to know him."

He jokingly added: "I assume that'll keep up for at least another-we'll check in every five years."
