Drew Barrymore spent Mother's Day on Sunday (08.05.16) with her estranged husband's mom.

The 'Whip It' actress split from Will Kopelman last month after almost four years of marriage, but she is clearly still on good terms with his family as she spent the day celebrating at the beach with Coco Kopelman and her own daughters, Olive, three, and Frankie, two.

Drew shared an Instagram picture of herself, Coco and her youngest daughter and wrote: "Three generations. Grammy. Me and Frank's. @cocokopelman #happymothersday #iheartgrammy. (sic)"

And later in the day, the 41-year-old star - who was emancipated from her own mother, Jaid Barrymore, when she was just 14 - enjoyed what appeared to be cocktails with Coco and Will's sister Jill Kopelman.

    She captioned a picture of them: "#newschool #iloveauntyjill #iheartgrammy #happymothersday #greatmoms #2016 @jillkargman @cocokopelman (sic)"

While she didn't spent the day with Jaid, the actress made sure she remembered her on Sunday too.

    She shared a throwback photo and wrote: "#oldschool #happymothersdsy #thankyoumom #1982 (sic)"

When the couple announced last month that they were separating, Drew and Will insisted it didn't make them any less of a family.

They said in a statement: "Sadly, our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family.

"Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on."

Though the 'Miss You Already' actress has little contact with her mother, she recently admitted she still supports her financially.

Writing in her memoir 'Wildflower', she revealed: "I still support her -- I must know that she is taken care of or I simply cannot function.

"I am grateful to this woman for bringing me into this world, and it would crush me to know she was in need anywhere."

Though she has little contact with her mother and remained estranged from her father, actor John Barrymore, for most of her life, Drew is still grateful to her parents and thankful for how they shaped her into the person she is today.

The actress - who battled cocaine and alcohol abuse when she was 14 - added: "It is not who I am to harbor any anger for the fact that our life together was so incredibly unorthodox.

"I want only to say thank you to her, because I love my life and it takes every step to get to where you are, and if you are happy, then God bless the hard times it took you to get there."
