Courteney Cox not allowed at front of Snow Patrol shows as it distracts Johnny

The 'Cougar Town' actress has rekindled her romance with the 39-year-old musician following a brief split in December and while they enjoy spending most of their time together, the 'Run' hitmaker doesn't want her too close when he's working.

He said: "Not [on] the front row. That'd be too distracting to me, I wouldn't be able to stop looking at her, and then I would just play all the wrong notes."

The guitarist-and-pianist also admitted he doesn't know what makes their relationship work but he thinks the amount of love he has for the 51-year-old actress is "enough" to make it a success.

He gushed to People magazine: "I don't know if you can put a label on what makes us work, but I know that I've never loved like I love this woman, so if that's enough, then that's enough."

Though the couple have got back together, Courteney refused to confirm whether their engagement is also back on.

She said only: "Well we love each other. Yes, we're happy."

The couple first sparked speculation they had reunited when they were spotted in Malibu on Easter Sunday (27.03.16) along with the actress' 11-year-old daughter Coco looking "very happy" as they enjoyed lunch and a spot of shopping.

After the pictures surfaced, a representative for the former 'Friends' star - who has Coco with ex-husband David Arquette - said: "They really care about each other and they are spending time together."

And it was later claimed Coco had been instrumental in her mother's reunion with the 'Run' hitmaker.

A source previously said: "Coco begged them to give things a second chance.

"Coco was gutted when her mum split from Johnny so she's been playing Cupid ever since.

"She got them together over Easter to talk things out and they realised there's still a lot of love between them. It seems they are ready to compromise more."

Courteney and Johnny started dating in late 2013 after being introduced by their mutual friend Ed Sheeran, who had been living in the actress' house while working in the US.
