Celine Dion has been appointed an administrator to her late husband René Angélil's estate.

The 'My Heart Will Go On' singer - who was left devastated when her spouse and former manager lost his battle with cancer in January - and two other people will be in charge of distributing René's assets, as directed in the will he left.

According to TMZ, René's will states two of his children from his first marriage will each receive a home in Canada, while the sale of two properties - an estate in Florida which is currently listed for $45 million and a $25 million castle in Quebec - will generate $9 million to be placed in a trust fund, likely for his and Celine's three kids, 15-year-old René Charles and five-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy.

In addition, the 47-year-old singer will retain the other properties, as well as all of the furniture, cars, clothing, jewellery and personal effects, and most of the money will go into a trust, which would typically provide for the surviving spouse and his six children.

In the probate documents - which were filed in Nevada - Celine had to dec lare she is not a felon in order to be named an administrator.

In March, the 'Think Twice' singer slashed the asking price of the Florida property by a staggering $30 million, having first listed the lavish 5.5 acre estate for $75.5 million in 2013 shortly after René was diagnosed with cancer.

While would-be buyers of the abode will still have to shell out a huge amount for the estate, they will get a lot for their money.

The main 10,000 sq ft house has five bedrooms, while the grounds are also home to two four-bedroom guest houses, a tennis court and simulated golf range.

The property also boasts three pools, one with a fire pit in the middle of it and another with a water park and lazy river.
