Helena Bonham Carter is envious of Johnny Depp's accessories.

The 49-year-old actress and Depp, 52, have bonded over their inimitable taste in fashion and Helena wishes she could accessorize as well as the Hollywood hunk.

She shared: "When we meet it is always, 'What have you come as?' We'll both be looking at each other because we both like getting dressed up.

"We both wear too much. I'm really envious of all his accessories and paraphernalia. He loves to disguise himself, as I have a tendency to do, too."

Meanwhile, Helena revealed she would love to star in a new TV show, because increasingly, the majority of good writers are working on the small screen rather than in the movie business.

She told the Sunday Times newspaper: "Most telly gets seen. You have an automatic audience of a few million, which isn't the case with a low-budget film. I've done many films like that, that I'm proud of, but that have hardly seen the light of day. There are specific people I'd like to do things with."

Helena also revealed she is keen to explore new ground in her career by doing something something totally different.

She explained: "I want to do something I haven't done before and if not, I'd like to be at home. I like pretending to be other people, and it's a bonus I get paid for it."

Last year, Helena starred alongside Carey Mulligan in 'Suffragette', which concerned women's right to vote.

The movie's London launch was memorably disrupted by more than one hundred activists, campaigning for greater support for victims of domestic violence.

Helena subsequently said: "I think it's marvellous. That is exactly what the suffragettes were about.

"If you feel strongly enough about something and there's an injustice there, then you can speak out and try and get something changed. It's the perfect response to our film."
