Naomi Campbell's pals splashed out $15,000 on roses for her 46th birthday celebrations.

The supermodel was joined by friends for a private dinner at PHD Rooftop Lounge in New York on Sunday evening, with the venue dressed in no less than 1,000 roses imported from Holland.

These 'Red Naomi' roses - which were named after the star for their beautiful long stems, their "smooth, velvety shade and the best petal count," TMZ reports.

Friends in attendance at the birthday bash included Usher, Zac Posen and Anna Sui whilst Naomi wowed in a white gown designed by Brandon Maxwell.

And Naomi's pals had one more surprise in store - a birthday cake made to look like her new coffee table book.

At the event, close pal Sean "Puffy" Combs - also known as P. Diddy - told guests that "Naomi Campbell is one of God's gifts to us."

Naomi clearly had a good night, taking to Instagram to share a picture of herself looking stunning whilst stood amongst some of her pals.

    Captioning the picture, she wrote: "#birthday night @iamdiddy @myfabolouslife @frenchmontana #family #unconditionallove @empirefox @brandonmaxwell @lorraineschwartz ...

"#aboutlastnight #surprisebdayparty thank you from bottom of heart (sic)"

Meanwhile, Naomi previously insisted she has no qualms about ageing.

When asked how she keeps her figure so trim, she explained: "I take care of myself, eat well and try to balance what I put in my body. I stay away from sugar and drink lots of water. I don't wear makeup if I don't have to ... your skin has to breathe.

"It is important to just drink juice two days a week, once a month or so, to cleanse yourself, rebalance and clean the blood ... I do work out but I don't lift weights. I like working with the resistance of my own body weight."
