Megan Fox's co-stars hopeful she and Brian Austin Green will make marriage work

The 30-year-old actress and Brian, 42 - who already have sons Noah, three and Bohdi, two - are expecting their third child together despite splitting up last year and friends are rooting for them to be together.

Megan's 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' co-star Brittany Ishibashi told PEOPLE: "I have a two-year-old. I bonded with Megan over kids. And I worked with Brian Austin Green a few years ago on 'Desperate Housewives'. He's such a sweet guy.

"They are both such sweet people – super chill. They're very spiritual people, very kind and generous. And she's an amazing mother. She was always talking about her kids and FaceTiming with her kids. And I think Brian's a great dad. They're such cool people."

Megan and Brian recently enjoyed a trip to Hawaii - where they wed in 2010 - in order to try and figure out their future and Brittany thinks it is a good sign.

She said: "I was like, 'Aw, there you go, guys'. And the Big Island on Hawaii is a very special place, very spiritual – that's where they got married, at the Four Seasons on the big island of Hawaii, at Hualalai. And they were back there."

Megan and Brian are currently living together in Bel Air and plans to dissolve their five-year marriage appear to be on hold.

A source said previously: "It's a small, unassuming house, but it's private and has great views. They are living together ... They do their day-to-day stuff like grocery shopping and taking their kids out together.

"This pregnancy was not planned, but when they found out they were extremely happy.

"Megan and Brian love being parents. They are working really hard to be together and one unit - not only for their children, but also for each other. They are looking forward for the arrival of their new baby. Brian has been a great partner and father."
