Louis Tomlinson performed at Jamie Vardy's wedding on Wednesday the 25.05.16.

The 29-year-old soccer star tied the knot with Becky Nicholson, 34, in a star-studded ceremony at Peckforton Castle, in Cheshire and Louis - who has been tipped to play Jamie in a movie about his incredible rise to fame - took to the stage to perform.

A source told The Sun: "Louis and Jamie are an unlikely pairing but the talk of the film role pushed them together. Louis messaged Jamie saying he’d get up and do a number with him and his pals."

Louis, 24, flew to the UK from Los Angeles - where he has been based since his former fling Briana Jungwirth gave birth to their son Freddie Reign in January - for the wedding, with his girlfriend Danielle Campbell.

It was previously revealed that Louis is the leading candidate to play soccer star Jamie in the Hollywood movie documenting the Leicester striker's incredible rags to riches story.

Producer Adrian Buchart is believed to have reached out to Louis about starring in the film, which will document Jamie's rise from Stocksbridge Park Steels to a Premier League winner with Leicester.

Adrian said: "We are looking at a few actors. Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson are two favourites, however One Direction's Louis Tomlinson is also very much on our radar, he's apparently a great footballer, he can act and he's from South Yorkshire so the accent won't be a problem for him."

It is believed Universal, Disney and Warner Brothers are all interested in financing the project.
