Jennifer Lopez "sometimes" homeschools her children.

The 'On the Floor' hitmaker - who currently has a residency at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino - has admitted her globe-trotting career means she's forced to educate her eight-year-old twins Max and Emme from time-to-time.

Speaking in an upcoming interview with Rosanna Scotto for New York's Fox 5, she said: "They are super happy, well-adjusted, loving, caring kids, and that's the most important thing. We'll get them educated. Homeschool is great for them when we have to do it. The most important thing is that they're with their mom -- that they don't feel abandoned by a parent."

The 46-year-old beauty receives a lot of criticism for the way she's chosen to raise her children – whose father is her ex-husband Marc Anthony - but she's found a way to block out the negative comments and turn a blind eye.

She added: "Everybody's like, 'You should have them in school. They need friends.' It can drive you crazy."

However, Jennifer understands that she and her kids will never have a "normal life" because she's constantly on the road.

She explained: "I'm not normal, so our life is not normal. I've come to terms with that. I want to be there with them. I don't want to miss it. It's going to go so fast."

And, although her lifestyle isn't ideal for raising youngsters, she's desperate to add to her brood but doesn't know if her age will prevent her from being able to have more children.

She said recently: "I wish I could have a lot more [kids]. I wish. I don't know if it's in the cards for me, but it's something I would love to do."
