Khloe Kardashian has seemingly taken a swipe at her estranged husband Lamar Odom in a cryptic post on Instagram.

The 31-year-old reality TV star, who is currently in the process of divorcing the former basketball player, posted a quote on her Instagram account on Saturday that seemed targeted at her estranged husband, who collapsed in a brothel in Nevada in 2015.

The quote read: "They start missing you when they fail at replacing you."

The curvaceous celebrity captioned the now-deleted image: "'You don't know what you got till it's gone.' I say, you knew what you had, you just never thought it could slip away.

"We often take for granted the things that deserve our gratitude the most. We do this with both people and material possessions. The problem is many people do not realize this until it is too late.

"We take things for granted on a daily basis, always with the assumption that whenever we need something, it will be there. There are so many things that we fail to realize the true value of until they are missing from our lives. Sadly. (sic)"

This comes shortly after the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star admitted she finds it difficult to "trust" and "believe" people nowadays.

She recently wrote on Twitter: "So hard to trust and believe these days. Hummmmmmm that's why I stay to myself. I love to write and hopefully inspire but I get frustrated when people assume they know who I'm writing about. It ruins my willingness to share something special (sic)"

Meanwhile, Khloe has also previously claimed she feels "a little safer" dating another celebrity.

She shared: "I used to wonder why celebrities only dated celebrities, but when you're in it you understand.

"You feel a little safer. If you're seen with someone on your first date, you're automatically getting married the next day. It's so extreme! So when you're two celebrities, you can keep it really quiet at first, to see if you even like each other. Dating someone in your world is a little easier."
