Diane Kruger has never been paid the same as a male co-star.

The 'Inglourious Basterds' actress claims she's never earned the same amount of money as an actor starring opposite her and has been slammed as a "b***h" when she has tried to raise a point on a film set.

She said: "I have yet to be paid the same amount as a male co-star.

"And absolutely I've been labelled a b***h, or difficult to work with, when I've spoken up about something."

When the 39-year-old star - who has also appeared in 'Troy', 'National Treasure' and TV series 'The Bridge' - is not on the big screen she is spending quality time with her partner, Joshua Jackson, who she credits with saving her from an identity crisis.

Speaking to Town & Country magazine, she added: "Meeting someone like my partner, who has a very different perspective, who likes to travel in a different way and be open to various experience, was so important.

"I [didn't] know anything about what [was] really going on in the world and I [didn't] ask enough questions."

Despite being happy in her relationship with Joshua, Diane - who was previously married to Guillaume Canet from 2001 to 2006 - is unsure whether she wants to tie the knot again, even after nearly 10 years with the 38-year-old star.

Asked if she would consider marrying again, she said in March: "Welcome to my dilemma."
