Rita Ora has been hospitalised for exhaustion.

The 'Body On Me' hitmaker took to Instagram to reveal she was being treated with an IV drip and getting some rest after a "tough" day.

She captioned a photo of herself in hospital: "Today was pretty tough but I'm getting through it thank you to all of you for the support! I love you!! #exhaustionisreal (sic)"

However, it is thought she is doing well now, having posted a selfie on Snapchat on Wednesday evening (29.06.16) to say goodnight.

Her hospitalisation comes only a week after it was revealed the 25-year-old singer had signed a worldwide deal with Atlantic Records UK.

Sharing a photo of her new "family", she wrote: "I'm thankful to my new Atlantic Records family for all their support and encouragement. The next chapter is going to be incredible."

Whilst Atlantic Records UK President Ben Cook added at the time: "First and foremost she's a great singer who's hugely passionate about music and I'm delighted to welcome her to Atlantic Records. We look forward to getting in the studio with her and making an incredible album."

Her manager Sarah Stennett of First Access Management was equally pleased with new partnership, adding: "I have worked with Rita since she was 17. She has always been a great entertainer with an electric personality; singing is at the heart of everything she does. I am thrilled that Rita has Atlantic Records as her global record label in this next phase of her career."

The signing of a new record contract comes soon after Rita settled a lawsuit against Roc Nation, where she requested to be released from her contract. The label had also filed a counter lawsuit requesting the singer returned $2.4 million for breaching her contract.

Rita and Roc Nation went their separate ways earlier this month after a settlement was reached.
