Cara Delevingne has got a new tattoo.

The 23-year-old model - who already has an extensive collection of body art - got an elephant's face etched on the inside of her right forearm on Thursday.

Cara shared a picture of the new tattoo on her Instagram account shortly after the masterpiece was done and thanked famed artist Brian Woo - also known as Doctor Woo - for creating the perfect inking of the large animal.

Doctor Woo - who is recognised for his signature single-needle technique - also posted the latest addition to his ever growing portfolio of art on his social networking site.

He wrote: "Lil for @caradelevingne#halfneedle (sic)."

The 'Paper Towns' actress acquired her first tattoo of a lion's face on the index finger of her right hand in 2013, which ignited her love for the intricate designs.

The star has since got 'BACON ... ' embossed on the sole of her foot, whilst the base of the other reads 'Made in England', a small diamond inside her ear, a quote from Bobby McFerrin's hit single 'Don't worry, be happy' positioned on her chest to contour her breasts, her initials engraved on the side of her hand, four white dots on her ribcage, which are representative of her family members, and more that currently total approximately 25 designs.

And the 'Suicide Squad' star even allowed her co-star Margot Robbie to tattoo her foot, whilst in the character of Harley Quinn, which is rumoured to be a tribute to the film.

Meanwhile, Cara - who has starred in numerous campaigns for luxury fashion houses Burberry, Mulberry and Dolce &Gabbana - has admitted she will "never" get a tattoo on her face or on her genitals.

Speaking previously, she said: "Probably not my face. I've already done my ears. Or my vagina... probably."
