Jamie Oliver is going to give his fifth child a "floral" and "seasonal" name.

The celebrity chef has daughters Poppy Honey Rosie, 14, Daisy Boo Pamela, 12, Petal Blossom Rainbow, six, and five-year-old son Buddy Bear Maurice with wife Jools, and admits the couple are keen to give their impending kid another flowery moniker.

He said: "Jools is leading the way, very floral, very seasonal, lots of actions of the earth.

"She told me I'm not allowed to talk about it and I don't want to get into trouble because I'm doing so well at home."

The star tries not to spoil his children but was recently outdone when he challenged them to learn all 30 herbs in his garden in exchange for a micro scooter.

He explained: "Kids are amazing. They were asking for a micro scooter and it wasn't their birthday or Christmas so you say what parents say, 'It's not your birthday or Christmas.'

"But I said, 'If you learn all the herbs in the garden I'll buy you one.' And they did. 30 herbs, and they are six or seven.

"Kids are amazing. They're so clever."

Having four kids and one on the way means Jamie needs plenty of milk in his household, so much so the 41-year-old cook has three different types of the dairy product stocked in his fridge on a daily basis.

Speaking on ITV's 'Loose Women', he added: "We have blue top for our cereals, we have semi-skimmed for our drinks and stuff like that, and skimmed."
