Little Mix surprised a super-fan on her 12th birthday - by turning up to sing happy birthday at her party at a McDonald's restaurant.

The girl group - comprised of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock - turned up unannounced at the eatery in Clapham, London, on Thursday to give lucky fan Elise Burke the best birthday ever by surprising as she celebrated turning 12.

Elise said: "I'm a massive Little Mix fan, and when the band came out I was really shocked. I was like, is this actually happening? I'm sure my friends were just as shocked as me. That never happens to someone like me. It's definitely one of the best days ever."

The surprise came as one of many unique moments set up by McDonald's as part of their #HelloGoodTimes campaign, and Little Mix were thrilled to be asked to be involved.

Jade, 23, said: "Birthdays are always worth a big party and with Little Mix's 5th birthday round the corner we were over the moon to kick the good times off early with Elise's celebrations"

Jesy, 25, added: "We love our fans so it was really exciting to be a part of Elise's birthday and see her face light up when we turned up unannounced and burst into song."

Leigh-Anne, 24, agreed, saying: "We love having fun with our fans, friends and family and surprise moments like this are brilliant which is why we are so excited to be involved with the McDonald's good times campaign."

And Perrie, 23, chipped in: "I had a fab time on my birthday last month so it was great to share the birthday love with one of our awesome fans."

The team putting together these events - known as the good times squad - have been bringing the party atmosphere to restaurants and cities across the UK, with prizes including festival and football tickets, and free events such as a giant McFlurry ball pit.
