Vin Diesel is "grateful to the entire cast" of 'Fast 8'.

The actor is believed to be the focus of Dwayne Johnson's recent criticism about unprofessional co-stars on the set of 'Fast 8' but Vin has taken to Instagram to insist that he values everyone who worked on the movie.

He wrote: "Came home from filming with my fare share of stunt related injuries. You know I will always push and put myself on the line to make something immortal and worthy. Waiting for me was an incredible family filled weekend. I am proud of the entire team for making Fast 8 a reality. Though intense at times, I am grateful to the entire cast... Every single one of them we brought on has shined because of their talent and commitment. Always count your blessings. #peoplefeeltruth #alllove (sic)."

In his original rant, former wrestler The Rock praised his female co-stars in the film, Charlize Theron, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez, but admitted it was a "different story" working with the guys.

The actor - who plays bounty hunter Luke Hobbs - wrote: "This is my final week of shooting Fast & Furious 8. There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one.

"An incredible hard working crew. Universal Studios Entertainment has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story.

"Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.(sic)"

Although Dwayne did not explicitly cite Vin as the source of his frustration while making the movie, the two stars are said to have fallen out during filming.

A source previously said: "Vin Diesel and the Dwayne Johnson have been butting heads throughout the production of 'Fast 8'.

"Vin has a reputation for being difficult - he shows up late, keeps people waiting, holds up production and is disrespectful to people on the set. Dwayne lost his patience with him."
