Lydia Hearst and Chris Hardwick have tied the knot.

The couple married in front of 450 friends in a 'Walking Dead'-themed wedding in Pasadena, California, on Saturday.

Speaking before the wedding, Lydia revealed her excitement at tying the knot.

She told PEOPLE: "I could never have envisioned a more perfect wedding day. It's better and more magical than I could have ever dreamed of ... It's going to be perfect, and even if it isn't that's how it was meant to be. I'm more excited than anything else!

"Everything else is just a bonus, but Chris is the most important person and vital component to me ... This is a celebration of our love and an incredible moment to share with our family and friends."

Lydia wore a custom-made Christian Siriano gown while her new husband opted for a Prada suit.

The couple asked their guests not to buy them presents and instead provided a list of charities they could choose to donate to.

Chris explained on Instagram: "Thank you for all your well-wishes and wonderful words lately! Some of you have even gone so far as to ask where we're registered (which is very sweet) so I'm sharing this...@lydiahearst and I are incredibly fortunate people and didn't feel right taking gifts from anyone so our wedding registry instead is a menu of five wonderful charities that we asked our guests to pick any or all of to make a donation toward: St Jude Children's Research Hospital (@stjude), Operation Smile (@operationsmile), GLAAD (@glaad), Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (@egpaf) & Best Friends Animal Society (@bestfriendsanimalsociety). If you're feeling generous and able, this support of others is the best way to support us on our magical day! No matter what, we appreciate you!!! (sic)."

Comedian Chris, 44, proposed to heiress and actress Lydia, 31, in September 2015.
