Katie Price has broken the age Terms and Conditions of Instagram.

The 38-year-old star has gone against the first rule of the photo sharing site, which only permits people aged "at least 13 years old" to sign up to use the app and share their personal photographs, after she allowed her 11-year-old son Junior and nine-year-old daughter Princess to join the social media site.

Under clause number one in Instagram's T's and C's, it reads: "You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service."

Although the television personality has revealed she will keep a close watch on what her two children - who she has with her former husband Peter Andre - posts and who they follow, the introduction to the realm of social media comes two years too early for Junior and four years too soon for Princess.

This news comes after the 'Loose Women' panellist posted pictures of her children's accounts to her own page.

Alongside a screenshot of Junior's account, she wrote: "My baby boy has asked me for 3 years for Instagram so I've allowed it but I'm keeping my eye and have passwords ... My gorgeous boy getting excited (sic)."

And Junior used one of his first posts to show his mother he knew he needed to behave.

In a video posted to his page, he said: "Hi everyone, welcome to my Instagram page. I've been begging my mum for three years and now I have finally got Instagram. So I have to behave otherwise she'll take it off me!"

Meanwhile, with Junior having his own account, Princess has also been "driving her mad" for an account, but Katie promised she'll be "vetting" her daughter's posts too.

Taking to social media, the mother of five - who also has sons Harvey and Jett and daughter Bunny - wrote: "Now my beautiful Princess has driven me mad for Instagram but I said I'll be vetting lol (sic)"

Princess posted a similar video message to her own account where she revealed her mother would have "full control" of her profile.

She shared: "Hi everyone, welcome to my Instagram. Junior had it and I really wanted it. I drove my mum mad, she let me have it and now she's in full control with me. (sic)."
