Lily Allen collapsed at Notting Hill Carnival over the weekend.

The 31-year-old singer appeared to be having the time of her life at the annual event in London, England, on Saturday (27.08.16) as she knocked back cider, swigged from bottles of whisky and guzzled down beer, but it seems her boozy session became too much for her to handle as she later fell unconscious and had to be carried off by her new boyfriend MC Meridian Dan.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "She was like a sack of spuds on her lover's shoulder."

The uncomfortable scenes unfolded backstage while her beau Meridian - whose real name is Daniel London - and her ex-boyfriend Seb Chew performed their grime set.

Once they finished their gig, the duo carried Lily through the crowd of party-goers before she came round and vomited.

The source explained to the publication: "Lily had a proper 'whitey' - she blanked out. She's tried hard to portray herself as a serious musician and social media commentator. This was not a good look."

Despite being pictured swigging a mixture of drinks as well as a bizarre concoction from a milk bottle, the 'Smile' hitmaker - who has two children Marnie, three, and Ethel, four, with her estranged husband Sam Cooper - later took to her Twitter account to claim she hadn't drunk too much but is a "lightweight" when it comes to drinking.

She reassured fans of her condition: "Truth is I'm just a lightweight, I had 2 cans of strongbow on an empty stomach. I'm here now and I'm absolutely fine (sic)"
